THE INTENT IN FORMING THIS "COMMUNITY" IS TO FOSTER PERSONAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH THROUGH GROUP ACTIVITIES, THUS ENCOURAGING LOVE, PEACE, AND HARMONY IN LIFE.

We are doing this in an open, friendly, and social environment. While sometimes serious we are also a fun-loving group. We are nondenominational and welcome anyone from anywhere with any belief system that works for them. Ideally, we would like those who spend time with us to share their own experiences of spiritual growth - - if and when they choose to. We believe by sharing experiences of spiritual growth we can support each other, gain insights into spiritual issues, and help each other on our spiritual paths.

ALL MEETINGS TAKE PLACE AT 75 STATE STREET IN PORTLAND ON TUESDAYS 7-9 PM (Unless otherwise noted)

Enter the building through the Gray Street entrance.  Sometimes this entrance is locked before 7:00 pm in which case enter or knock on the door to the far left in the sheltered entry area (A SHM sign should be posted)

DIRECTIONS to the Adams Center at 75 State Street

From North or South:

From I-295 take Exit 6A. First right is State St. (Rt. 77 South) - - a one way boulevard. 75 State Street is approximately 0.8 miles - - down the hill on the left after crossing Congress Street and just past Mercy Hospital (on the right). Take a left onto Gray St. - - the first left after the Mercy Hospital traffic light and just before the 75 State Street sign (on left).

The Adams Center is a meeting room inside 75 State St. Use the Gray Street entrance area (very visible) and upon entering keep turning left to the double doors on your left.  OR, without entering the building turn to a solid steel door (to your far left in the sheltered entry area) that should be ajar with a SHM sign on it. If not, please knock on the door. This enters directly into the Adams Center room.

Parking: There are two free-parking lots on Gray Street (on left opposite Gray Street entrance & on right just after the building) as well as street parking on Gray Street.

March 20, 2012 - A 2012 Discussion Group has replaced the ACIM meetings. This group will meet the third Tuesday of each month.  The purpose of this group is to have people come together to share any spiritual or other insights or understandings that they may have personally gained around the changes coming to us in 2012.  This type of sharing should help all of us through this time of tremendous changes.  At this first meeting we will try to set up a format for these meetings and we will try to create a theme of discussion for the next meeting.

April 3, 2012 - An Evening with Rosie Deer Heart: Rosalie Deer Heart will talk about the energy center called high heart, which is the portal for connecting with your multi-dimensional Being. She will lead the group in a gentle process to remember and then reside in high heart to access the love, wisdom and healing that resides within. She may also read a few stories from her most recent book, Awaken Your All Knowing Heart, which is avaliable at Leapin' Lizards bookstore.

Rosalie has enjoyed a life time of living beyond the roles of teacher, psycho- therapist, minister, sculptor, author, and licensed medium. Since being claimed by Big Angel, she smiles most of the time.

 April 17, 2012 - - - - 2012 Discussion Group.  What kind of world do we want to envision and create? We all have a vision of the potential of 2012: to help us be more peaceful, creating the spiritual connection, what issues will we have to deal with? Each month will have a certain theme and then discussion time.

April 24, 2012 - Past Life Regression with Jeannie Sullivan. Have you ever had the sense of déjà vu? Have you met someone and felt like you knew him or her from somewhere else? It could be snippet of a memory, or feeling of a time and place that a part of you remembers. Perhaps a part of you that experienced a past life.

 Learn more about past life regression. Participants will engage in a lively discussion about the topic, and be taken on a guided meditation to discover at least one or more of your past lives. We have all been here many times over and learned from each experience we have had. We have brought these experiences into this life and now you will have an opportunity to see where you have been and whom you may have interacted with. This workshop will provide an opportunity to give you a glimpse of the past to help you in your present day life.

Please bring water, a blanket, and wear comfortable clothing. All donations will be given to the presenter tonight!
